AudioVerse – $9,000

AudioVerse provides a service that is free for anyone in the world, but many individuals are still unaware of it. This special funding will be used to help increase awareness of this rich resource within the SDA church around the world. The message of Christ’s soon coming needs to go to the whole world, and this funding will help advance AudioVerse’s ability to access many more hearts.

Education Assistance Program (EAP) – $14,000

The EAP is an education scholarship provided for the children of current OCI missionary workers and their children. One of the new projects from the EAP program is the OCI Mentoring Program called “One Thing” which is an intensive leadership program for leaders between 25 and 40 years of age. The program has three main areas of focus: helping young leaders understand their call, spiritual growth and the development of essential leadership skills. This program will also encourage succession planning to be implemented by these young leaders as a principle of sound sustainable missionary projects around the world.

Peru Projects – $19,000

Resting peacefully along a lagoon in the Peruvian rainforests, lies the beautiful campus of Peru Projects, which seeks to reach out to the peoples of Peru with the message of salvation and better health. Their special focus is the nearly inaccessible tribal peoples and other ethnic groups spread across thousands of miles of dense rainforest and winding rivers. The goal of this project is to train couples or teams and place them in 15 of 23 totally untouched regions within the next 3 years, with a further goal of establishing solid congregations within 10+ of these regions in the next 4 years. ASI Southern Union’s support will help provide the training for these pioneer missionary teams and will help to reach God’s long lost children of the jungle!

Network 7 Media Center – $24,500

Network 7 Media Center provides free media support to ASI Southern Union each year through live video and streaming services, streaming events and pre-recorded ministry interviews. Network 7 also provides the well-known Mission SONlight videos for the world church. Your support will provide resources for Mission SONlight productions with two new pro grade DSLR cameras, 4 lenses and accessory kits that include batteries, chargers, lighting and cables. This will bring Mission SONlight, and Network 7 post-production for the ASI family, up to par with today’s rigid standards of video quality.

Faith Partnerships – $3,000

Islam remains one of the largest groups of people who have yet to clearly hear the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14:6-12. God has raised up the Adventist movement to share that message with the world, including Islam. The Three Angels’ Messages for Islam project is designed to coherently and intentionally connect with the thousands of Muslims who are here in the USA and the Southern Union, specifically. ASI Southern Union funding will help to give this often-neglected part of the great commission renewed strength in the Southern Union region.

Amazon Life Savers – $5,000 plus overflow

Through a partnership with ADRA Brazil and the Adventist Hospital of Manaus, Amazon Life Savers takes volunteer healthcare professionals into hard to reach villages to provide urgently needed medical and dental care. Through these first contacts with villages that have no SDA presence, doors are often opened to the Gospel. Specially trained Pioneer Workers are then placed in the communities to live with the locals with the end goal of starting a new SDA Church—making true disciples who will in turn continue to serve God in that region. The money from ASI will go to provide small monthly stipends to the Pioneer Workers across the Amazon Region. There is a team of two in each community and Amazon Life Savers’ goal is to have at least 30 trained Pioneer Workers in un-entered communities next year.

Creel Tarahumara Mission – $5,000 plus overflow

Tarahumara Indians were originally inhabitants of much of the state of Chihuahua, but retreated to the high sierras and canyons such as the Copper Canyon in the Sierra Madre Occidental on the arrival of Spanish explorers in the 16th century. The area of the Sierra Madre Occidental, which they now inhabit, is often called the Sierra Tarahumara because of their presence. With widely dispersed settlements, these people developed a tradition of long-distance running (made famous by the book Born to Run), up to 200 miles in one session through the rough canyon country. Since 1993, Creel Tarahumara Mission has helped plant 7 churches through health outreach to theses indigenous people groups. The funds from ASI Southern Union will help fund the completion of the construction of two churches in communities with large populations of Tarahumara Indians.

ASI SU Internship Program – $4000 plus overflow.

ASI Southern Union is excited to roll out a new project that will help provide mission and service-focused college students with summer internship opportunities. This year’s support will help match students with ministries and provide funding to assist with the internship expenses. We are confident that this exciting project will mutually help our students and both ministries while planting the ASI Spirit in the hearts of many future members!

Recruitment – $4000 plus overflow

A small part of this years offering will go to promote and encouraging more people to enjoy the fellowship, spiritual blessings and business networking that each of you enjoy here at ASI!
